Lauria Rose's first collection is a poignant and meaningful display of her creative talent, inspired by twelve different mental disorders. Psychology has always interested her, and her personal experiences with illness and loss have influenced her designs in a profound way. For much of her life, Lauria has witnessed the illness and death of those she loves, including her mother, whom she has cared for since the age of sixteen. Her grandmother's struggle with Alzheimer's disease further deepened her understanding of the complexities of mental health.

The color palette of blues, white, and black is chosen with intention, reflecting the range of emotions associated with mental health. Blue represents calmness and stability, while white represents purity and clarity. Black symbolizes darkness and mystery, reflecting the ambiguity and confusion surrounding mental illness.

This collection is a powerful testament to the ability of fashion to communicate emotions and experiences. By using clothing to represent the intricacies of mental health, Lauria Rose is making a bold statement and challenging society's misconceptions about these conditions. Her personal experiences have driven her to create a collection that not only showcases her design talent but also raises awareness and promotes understanding of mental health issues.
