For much of her life, Lauria has witnessed the illness and death of those she loves, including her mother, whom she has cared for since the age of sixteen. Her grandmother's struggle with Alzheimer's disease further deepened her understanding of the complexities of mental health.

The color palette of blues, white, and black is chosen with intention, reflecting the range of emotions associated with mental health. Blue represents calmness and stability, while white represents purity and clarity. Black symbolizes darkness and mystery, reflecting the ambiguity and confusion surrounding mental illness.
